3. Can Aircobrabant install an air conditioner that I bought myself somewhere else?

No we only install installations we supply ourselves. This goes wrong the moment the installation turns out not to work after installation. Who is then responsible? The supplier or the installer?

To avoid this discussion and make sure we get paid for our work, we have decided to only assemble our own equipment.

4. Is an air conditioner suitable as a main heating system?

We always recommend using the air conditioner in combination with the central heating system. Especially in larger rooms, heating from an air conditioner is often not enough. The room often reaches the right temperature, but the climate is uncomfortable (many temperature differences in the room). In smaller rooms such as bedrooms and small offices, heating with air conditioning alone is perfectly possible.

We recommend setting the central heating system to 16 to 17 degrees and heating the rest with the air conditioner. That way, you get an optimal climate and save on your energy bill.

 

5. Can Aircobrabant help me maintain my existing air conditioning system?

We exclusively provide maintenance for air conditioning systems installed by Aircobrabant, aiming to ensure that they maintain their optimal operation. When a new system is purchased from Aircobrabant, an exception may be made.

6. Who is responsible for connecting my air conditioner to the Wi-Fi network?

Linking the air conditioner to the wifi network must be done by our customers themselves. For this connection, we need passwords of your M-air account and your wifi network. This data is private and not always available on the day of installation.

When there are problems with the wifi network or there are no login details, connecting the wifi controller takes a lot of time. Engineers often do not have this extra time.

 

7. Can I connect my wifi air conditioner to any wifi network?

No. The wifi controllers in air-conditioning installations can only be linked to 2.4 GHz networks. Linking to 5.0 GHz is impossible, even with brands other than Mitsubishi and Daikin.

With the app "wifiman" you can see which networks are available in your home or business premises. Also make sure that the device on which you are going to link to the air conditioner is also on the 2.4 GHz network.

If no 2.4 GHz network is available, call your internet provider to turn it on. They will help you immediately.

10. I read on the internet a lot of complaints about the M-air app. What is your experience?

As a rule, often only the negative experiences are shared on the internet. In our experience, the app works fine when installed. The complaints we hear are only about internet connectivity and speed.

Pairing: If the additional guide is followed properly, this goes fine. People often skip steps or refuse to press "allow" when the app asks for it. In addition, there are still people who do not want to accept that pairing with 5 GHz will never work. Make sure that the device you connect to is also on the right network.

11. Do you also do air conditioning installations for business customers?

Yes, we offer air conditioning installations and services for both residential and small business customers. Installations up to and including 14Kw. We customise our solutions based on your business needs.
