Investing in CO2 reduction and renewable energy
Are you interested in CO2 reduction, energy-efficient techniques or renewable energy? If so, you can take advantage of the "Energy Investment Deduction" scheme.
With E.I.A., you can deduct up to 40% of investment costs from taxable profit.
Budgets
The Grant budget for 2025 is €431 million and in 2026 the E.I.A budget will be €470 million.
Who is prophesying from E.I.A.
- Entrepreneurs subject to income or corporate tax.
- Entrepreneurs investing in a new asset that is on the Energy List and meets the specific requirements
- Entrepreneurs who did not use this asset before
What costs are eligible for this grant
- Consultancy fees
- Acquisition costs
- Installation costs
- Cost of necessary adjustments for realisation
Which products are eligible
From 2024, air-to-air heat pumps with a thermal output of 12 kW or higher are eligible for E.I.A. This equipment must have a SCOP of at least 4. A minimum investment of €2500 is required.
