Why is air conditioning maintenance important?<\/h2>\n\t

Regular maintenance of your air conditioner is essential for optimal operation and long life. Here are some key reasons why air conditioning maintenance is crucial:<\/p>\n

  1. Efficiency and energy savings:<\/strong> A well-maintained air conditioner works more efficiently. By regularly cleaning or replacing filters and checking the system, you ensure that the air conditioner uses less energy. This leads to lower energy costs and more sustainable use of your system.<\/li>\n
  2. Improved Air Quality:<\/strong> During maintenance, filters and air ducts are cleaned. This helps to remove dust, allergens and other contaminants, resulting in better air quality in your home or office. A clean air conditioner contributes to a healthier indoor environment.<\/li>\n
  3. Preventing Problems:<\/strong> Regular maintenance allows technicians to identify potential problems early and fix them before they cause serious damage. This can prevent costly repairs and uncomfortable situations in the future.<\/li>\n
  4. Extended Lifetime:<\/strong> By properly maintaining your air conditioner, you extend its life. A well-maintained system can operate smoothly for years, saving significantly on replacement costs.<\/li>\n
  5. Warranty conditions:<\/strong> Many manufacturers impose maintenance requirements to keep the warranty valid. By having regular maintenance carried out, you ensure that you comply with these requirements and that your warranty does not expire.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t

    Legal duty<\/h3>\n\t

    Since 1 January 2015, the rules for leak checks have been changed. These checks are carried out during the maintenance of your split air conditioner. Does your installation have a refrigerant content with a CO\u2082 equivalent of 5 tonnes or higher? Then you are obliged to have the installation serviced annually. Installations under 5 tonnes are not covered by this maintenance obligation.<\/p>\n

    Modern air conditioners use two types of refrigerants: R410A and R32. R32 is the newest variant and has a lower CO\u2082 equivalent, making it more environmentally friendly. We recommend replacing installations with older refrigerants and having the old system disposed of by a specialist.<\/p>\n

    Co2 equivalent per refrigerant<\/h1>\n

    Aircobrabant works exclusively with refrigerants of the latest generation.<\/p>\n

    R32<\/strong> mandatory monitoring from: 7.5 kg\u00a0<\/strong>= 5,063 tonnes<\/p>\n

    R410A<\/strong> mandatory monitoring from: 2.3 kg<\/strong> = 5,011 tonnes<\/p>\n

    Subscription<\/h1>\n

    We work with no-obligation maintenance subscriptions. You only receive an invoice after the maintenance has been carried out. Maintenance customers always receive priority for service requests and pay no call-out charges in the event of breakdowns.<\/p>\n

    We only service installations supplied and installed by Aircobrabant.<\/strong><\/p>\n\t

    Conditions and activities air conditioning maintenance<\/h3>\n
    \nOperations:<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Checking the operation of the plant<\/li>\n
    • Refrigeration inspection<\/li>\n
    • Cleaning\/disinfecting the evaporator(s) and condensate collection tray.<\/li>\n
    • Cleaning condenser and fan<\/li>\n
    • Testing the condensate drain<\/li>\n
    • Check prescribed pressures and temperatures<\/li>\n
    • Cleaning and, if necessary, replacement of air filters (at extra cost)<\/li>\n
    • Updating required F-gases records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \nOther work:<\/strong>\n

      Any work that falls outside this subscription, yet is necessary for the proper functioning of the equipment to be serviced, will be carried out by Aircobrabant in consultation and after instruction from the customer for an additional fee. During this appointment, small parts can be replaced directly (up to \u20ac50 without consultation). Other repairs will only be carried out after consultation.<\/p>\n
      \nR22<\/strong>\n

      Installations with the refrigerant R-22 may no longer be repaired from 1 January 2015. Aircobrabant will not repair R-22 installations but will replace them after consultation.<\/p>\n
      \nAccess to equipment<\/strong>\n

      The customer shall ensure that during the work, access to the equipment for our service technicians is proper, safe and accessible. Aircobrabant service technicians may refuse dangerous situations. Costs related to improving safety will be passed on.<\/p>\n
      \nExecution of maintenance<\/strong>\n

      Maintenance is carried out by mutual agreement. Work takes place on working days between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.<\/p>\n
      \nPayment<\/strong>\n

      Payment must be made within 14 days of the work being carried out. Private customers should pay immediately after maintenance has been carried out.<\/p>\n
      \nAgreement<\/strong>\n

      By taking out a maintenance subscription, you transfer the care of your installation(s) to us. This gives you priority in the event of malfunctions after maintenance has been carried out and no call-out charges are charged.<\/p>\n

      (12 months annually. 2 24 months annually).<\/p>\n
