Personal data we process

We process your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself, for example through the contact form or a quote request. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we may process:

  • First and last name
  • Address details
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Information about your home or business premises, insofar as relevant to a quote or installation
  • Other information that you actively provide yourself, for example in correspondence and telephone contact

Why we process personal data and on what legal basis

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Preparing and sending quotes
  • Performing agreements relating to the supply, installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems
  • Processing your payment
  • Keeping in touch, for example to inform you about an appointment or the progress of an order
  • Complying with legal obligations, such as our statutory tax record-keeping obligation

We process this data on the basis of the performance of a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract (such as issuing a quote), on the basis of a legal obligation, and/or on the basis of our legitimate interest in running our business properly.

How long we keep personal data

Aircobrabant BV does not keep your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. For data that falls under the statutory tax record-keeping obligation, we apply the statutory retention period of 7 years.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Aircobrabant BV does not sell your data to third parties. We only share your data with third parties where this is necessary to perform our agreement with you (for example an installation partner or supplier) or to comply with a legal obligation. With parties that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a data processing agreement where required, to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Viewing, changing or deleting your data

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing, to object to the processing of your personal data by Aircobrabant BV, and the right to data portability. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion or transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to info@aircobrabant.nl.

To make sure that the request for access was made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, and within four weeks.

Aircobrabant BV would also like to point out that you have the option of lodging a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). You can do so via the following link: autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
