Everything about the Daikin Comfora
Want to know what the Daikin Comfora has to offer, which capacity you need or how it differs from the Sensira and Perfera? Below we set out the key specifications, selection guides and installation details for you.
What makes the Daikin Comfora special?
The Comfora positions itself as the most complete air conditioner for everyday use in living rooms and bedrooms. It offers more than the Sensira without asking the premium price of the Perfera.
As a heat pump, the Comfora cools and heats efficiently all year round, down to outdoor temperatures of around -15 degrees Celsius. With energy label A++, the Comfora delivers good efficiency in its price class. The noise level starts from 22 dB, which is quiet enough for living rooms and bedrooms. WiFi is built in as standard so you can control the air conditioner via the Daikin Onecta app, including remotely. The Comfora has 3D airflow that distributes air both horizontally and vertically for an even temperature throughout the room. The Comfora is available in 2, 2.5, 3.5 and 5 kW, making it suitable for rooms of about 15 to 50 m².
Which capacity should you choose?
The Daikin Comfora comes in 2 kW (up to approx. 15 m²), 2.5 kW (up to approx. 20 m²), 3.5 kW (up to approx. 35 m²) and 5 kW (up to approx. 50 m²). We work with a standard of 35 watts of cooling capacity per cubic metre.

Comfora, Sensira or Perfera: what is the difference?
The Sensira is the entry-level model: reliable and affordable, but with a slightly higher noise level and without WiFi as standard. The Comfora adds WiFi, improved airflow and a lower noise level for a modest extra cost. The Perfera goes a step further with energy label A+++, an even lower noise level of 19 dB and Flash Streamer air purification. For most living rooms and bedrooms, the Comfora offers the best balance between price and performance. Read the detailed comparison in our blog: Daikin Comfora vs Perfera.
